Genoa president Enrico Preziosi has revealed goalkeeper Marco Amelia is on his way to AC Milan.
The goalkeeper has moved around quite a lot in recent seasons, playing for Lecce, Parma, Livorno, Palermo and Genoa.
"We have already shaken hands," Genoa President Preziosi told Sky Sport Italia.
"On Monday he will undergo a medical and on Tuesday he will be declared a Milan player."
The Rossoneri need him as an understudy to Christian Abbiati after the end of Nelson Dida's contract.
Marco Storari was the second choice at San Siro, but has been sold to Juventus this week.
