Genoa boss Gian Piero Gasperini was pleased with their 1-0 victory at Cagliari.

Ruben Olivera struck the winner and Gasperini said: "The victory is the right result and gives us a boost going forward. It is true having the extra man helped us, but even in the first half we had several chances."
