Genoa coach Gian Piero Gasperini says Alberto Gilardino deserves a World Cup call.
Gilardino has scored 11 Serie A goals in 23 games this season.
"In my view Gilardino has a good chance of going to the World Cup in Brazil. He is scoring regularly and putting in consistently good performances, thanks also to the support of his teammates," said Gasperini.
