Genoa have completed a deal for Nantes winger Serge Gakpé.
The 27-year-old attacking winger will be a free agent in June and today FIFA confirmed paperwork has been registered for next term.
Genoa will have Gakpé from July 1 and he has signed a contract until June 2018.
"The club has had a great season so far and I hope they can continue like this, qualifying for the Europa League," he told 20 Minutes.
"There were several teams interested in me, but the Genoa project attracted me more. It's a great opportunity for me.
"Plus my friends Menez, Drame, Djordjevic and Mangami spoke well of Italy."
