Genoa president Enrico Preziosi has shut the door on signing free agent Edgar Davids.

While Davids' agent has made it clear he would jump at the chance of a move to Genoa, Tuttosport says Preziosi has said 'no'. Released Celtic midfielder Thomas Gravesen has received the same answer.
