Genoa vice-president Fabrizio Preziosi has confirmed their interest in Fiorentina attacker Gianpaolo Pazzini.

"We have long pursued Pazzini. I'll continue to follow him because he's a very good player and maybe try to make a new offer," said Preziosi Jr.

"In Genoa, he'd probably have more continuity. Though we are still covered in that position, we have taken Diego Milito, a great player."
