Genoa vice-president Giambattista Pastorello insists on-loan striker Marco Borriello will remain.
Borriello, whose contract is owned by AC Milan, has revived his career at Genoa this season and Pastorello revealed: "We can keep Borriello.
"There is a good agreement between us and AC Milan. There's talk of other clubs now following him, but he will stay with us.
"His success this season is no surprise, we had no doubt about his talent and knew he would return to his best at Genoa."
