Genoa coach Davide Ballardini feels Leonardo has reinvigorated Inter Milan's players since his appointment.
Genoa face Inter tonight in the Coppa Italia.
Ballardini said: "We certainly don't lack goal-scoring chances, we just need to make the most of our opportunities.
"We will try to give a good image against Inter and honour this competition.
"Inter are a team that you must fear because they have great quality players.
"Moreover, they have recovered their enthusiasm with the arrival of Leonardo."
