Almeria defender Chico is on the brink of a move to Genoa.
Marca says Genoa are in advanced talks over a fee for the stopper, who has been made available by Almeria.
Genoa have opened the bidding with an offer of €1 million, while Almeria are seeking closer to €5 million for the experienced centre-half.
