Genoa have announced the signing of Andreas Granqvist.

Granqvist will play for Genoa next season after he completed his move to Italy from Groningen.

The Italian outfit confirmed his arrival this morning for an undisclosed fee, believed to be around €2m, from the Swedish outfit.

The defender, 26, is a Swedish international who has also played for Helsingborg and Wigan Athletic during his career to date.
