Genoa have announced the signing of Inter Milan striker David Suazo.

The Honduras international joins Genoa initially for their winter training camp, where he will undergo a medical ahead of terms being discussed.

Genoa confirmed the agreement with Inter last night, while president Enrico Preziosi revealed earlier in the day: "Yes, we are interested in Suazo. I think we can agree with Inter as soon as they open the market.

"Then we will send Sergio Floccari on loan to Lazio."
