Genoa president Enrico Preziosi has confirmed their interest in Catania striker Jorge Martinez.

Catania have announced they plan to sell the Uruguay international this summer.

Preziosi said: "We also like Jorge Martinez a lot, but Catania are asking for too much. It will be difficult to keep Criscito and Palladino."
