Genk striker Vossen on Burnley radar

Burnley have reportedly held talks with Jelle Vossen over a potential transfer.

Burnley are in the market to sign a new striker following the departure of Danny Ings to Liverpool and according to the Lancashire Telegraph, the Clarets have identified Genk ace Vossen as the ideal replacement.

Vossen spent last season on loan with Middlesbrough and the 26-year old Belgian is said to be keen on a return to England despite Genk offering him a new deal.

As a result, Burnley have expressed their interest in signing Vossen, who is also a reported target for Scottish champions Celtic, and are currently in talks with the striker over a potential summer move.
