Racing Genk have announced the sale of Kevin de Bruyne to Chelsea.
The 20-year-old has long been linked with a move to the London giants and saw a deal fail to materialise in the summer.
But Chelsea maintained an interest and have now sealed the move, which will see the youngster stay with Genk on loan until the end of the season.
Genk revealed that De Bruyne put pen-to-paper early on Tuesday morning, signing a contract that commits him to the club until 2017.
Genk have not confirmed the fee, but it is believed that the deal is worth around £7million.

Sorry Ritzyfrank... We got Andrew Bamford from Nottingham Forest instead!
Bit of a difference but looks like the purse strings are being pulled at the club as Roman is down to his last $15 billion.
I agree with all those you have listed though. Maybe in the summer eh?
Till then we are stuck with the likes of Malouda, Boswinga and Kalou. If we don't finish top 4, then kiss goodbye to big signings in the summer because NO TOP SIGNINGS will want to play for a club next season who are playing second-rate European football.
I'm afraid gone are the times when we could beat the likes of Barcelona.
I blame AVB, and Roman and the board for picking such a useless manager in the first place.
Transition for sure, We are turning from a great club into a mediocre one and the sooner this Ginger fool gets the sack and a BIG manager is bought in... the better.
My guess is that they will hang on to Villas Boas till the summer... then get Jose back. At all costs.... get him back, failing that Guus Hiddink.
Personally I would sack Villas Boas now and get Guus in short term to sort this feckin mess out. AVB is NOT premiership managerial quality, far from it. As for his man management skills, well, they are totally non-existant. The man is a fool and is being exposed for the fraud he is.
The gamble has not paid off. He is a bullshytter and has not got a clue.
Time to go Andre.. because things are turning nasty now. You are not liked and not wanted by the majority of the supporters.
Well done AVB and Chelsea's management, just do your best to get Eden Hazard, Lucas from Soa Poalo and Edison Cavani from Napoli................and then build your team.
