Genclerbirligi striker Bruce Djite has joined Diyarbakirspor on loan for six months.

The former Adelaide United goalscorer will link up with the southeastern club immediately after struggling to gain regular game time with Gencler' and will now hope to push for selection for Australia's World Cup squad for the tournament in South Africa later this year.

Djite joined Genclerbirligi in May 2008 and after initially enjoying solid form, tapered off and now finds himself with a club who is placed 14th on the Turkish Super Lig table.
