Gremio defender Mario Fernandes has confirmed he is wanted by Inter Milan.

Inter are chasing the 19 year-old Brazilian, who is an end-of-season target for coach Jose Mourinho.

"The representatives of Inter spoke with my agent, they were ready to buy me but now I know nothing," said Fernandes. "There was a meeting, but there's nothing concrete.

"It's only natural that every player dreams of playing in Europe. I'd like to stay another year with Gremio. My agent, Jorge Machado, has not informed me about any news, but if anyone is interested they can contact him to discuss."
