Gedion Zelalem made history with Arsenal for their 4-0 FA Cup win over Coventry City.
Zelalem became the first player to represent the Gunners despite being born after Arsene Wenger took charge in September 1996.
Jack Wilshere expressed his excitement about Zelalem's ability, saying: "He played a few passes through that I don't know how he saw them to be honest."
However, Zelalem is attempting to block out the "hype", despite setting high standards for himself.
He said: "I don't listen to any hype or anything like that, I just listen to my parents and the people around me who love me. They keep me grounded so it's fine.
"I have really high expectations for myself But I'm still very young, so I have a lot of work to do. I will keep working hard and stay positive all the time."
