GB Olympic team will not go ahead unless Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland are on board

FIFA vice-president Jim Boyce has revealed that the Great Britain Olympic team will not happen if all four associations are not on board.

?The Football Association are all for the GB team to compete at Rio 2016 but Boyce insists that Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland all have to show interest if the team is to go ahead.

?"I received an assurance from FIFA." Boyce told Sky Sports News HQ.

?"They confirmed to me that the British Olympic Association would not receive FIFA's permission to enter a Team GB football team without the consent of all four British associations.

?"FIFA has the final say on whether a football team can be entered for the Olympic Games."?
