Gazidis, Mislintat and Fahmy in Dortmund to close Arsenal Aubameyang deal

Arsenal chief exec Ivan Gazidis is in Dortmund today to finalise a deal for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Sun reports Gazidis was spotted with Arsenal's contract negotiator Huss Fahmy, along with chief scout Sven Mislantat - a recent acquisition from the Bundesliga side.

In the background was a super car thought to be that of Aubameyang's.

The Gabon international posted a picture of the exact same distinct car to his Instagram back in December alongside the caption: "We are now ready to ride."

Although Aubameyang was not spotted in the pictures exclusive to German publication Bild, it appears certain that the Arsenal duo were trying to get the deal over the line.

Dortmund confirmed that Arsenal had made a bid for the rapid forward thought to be in the region of £44.1million.

The 28-year-old was left out of the squad that drew 1-1 to Hertha Berlin on Friday, which further stoked transfer speculation.
