Gazidis says Arsenal excited to be playing in Kitchee Cup

Arsenal chief Ivan Gazidis says the club is excited to be playing in the Kitchee Cup later this summer.

The Gunners will play Kitchee in Hong Kong as part of their preseason Asian tour.

Gazidis said: "I congratulate Kitchee for winning the treble in Hong Kong recently. We are hugely looking forward to the game. I have been told that Kitchee play a technical style of football not unlike Arsenal so it will be a good test.

"Hong Kong is the last match in our 2012 Asia Tour, presented by Emirates, and is an important part of our build up to the forthcoming Premier League season. I am sure that the fans of both Arsenal and Kitchee will enjoy the great atmosphere we expect in the match."
