Portsmouth boss Tony Adams has said that owner Alexandre Gaydamak will not sell the club to the wrong buyer and has the clubs best interests at heart.
"We want to get someone in here now to take the club forward," Adams said.
"He's not going to sell it to anyone who could jeopardise that.
"He doesn't need to sell it you see. He's going to sell to people that have the right ethics and values for Portsmouth football club.
"He sees me very much as the going forward process. He's not going to sell the club to someone who wants to put someone else in charge.
"There's a lot of stipulations around the sale. He's going to make sure it ends up in the right hands or he isn't going to sell."
