Gaydamak seeking buyer for £65M Portsmouth

Sacha Gaydamak is again being linked with the sale of Portsmouth.

The Sunday Mirror says City sources claim the French-born millionaire is searching for a buyer and has put a minimum asking price of £65million on the club.

Although club sources claim Gaydamak is not desperate to get out, they don't deny he would consider selling if the sale realised a major profit on his initial investment.

It's understood his infrequent appearances at games and projected problems over financing a new stadium and training ground are behind the sale.

The day-to-day running of the club is undertaken by chief executive Peter Storrie and the vast amount of his contact with Gaydamak is done over the phone.
