Rino Gattuso is hopeful of earning a new deal with AC Milan.

The 34 year-old comes off contract in June.

"I'll speak to Vice-President Adriano Galliani about my future," said Gattuso.

"It's been an odd season for me, but I still want to play. If that isn't possible then I'll stay at home with my kids and be a dad.

"It's not important for me to have a contract, I just need to feel alive."
