Gattuso: AC Milan must finish in top four

Rino Gattuso admits AC Milan are focused on finishing inside the top four this season.

The midfielder said: "The game against Napoli will be difficult, but we are conscious that we did well in Dubai.

"We have to address the fact that we haven't won at San Siro. So far it has been a disappointing season in the League, but we have time to make amends.

"We have an important objective - to finish fourth. It's unthinkable for Milan to finish outside the Champions League spots."

Most of the build-up to the Diavolo's game against Napoli has centred on the possible debut of Brazilian striking starlet Alexandre Pato.

"Nobody knows if he will start, but we are all expecting so much from him because of the great things he does in training," Gattuso explained.

"We have to be careful not to put too much pressure on him, but that pressure partly comes from the big fee we paid to sign him. On paper he is a champion, now he needs to prove it."
