Gateshead manager Ian Bogie is delighted over their relationship with Newcastle United.
Bogie's team has benefited from several Toon loan players this season.
He told the Sunday Sun: "Over the last few years we've struck up a great relationship in terms of bringing over a few of their young players and giving them a good grounding.
"This is what it's all about in the lower reaches of football. The real game, as I say.
"Alan Pardew's been fantastic in that respect, because it was difficult in the past to get players.
"But since Alan's been there, and obviously John Carver's got connections from having played for Gateshead, and I grew up as a young apprentice under Peter Beardsley, who's been great for us, they know what we're all about here."
