Uruguay winger Gaston Ramirez has hit out at Bologna management.
Ramirez impressed last season and is hoping to make the step up to a bigger club.
"I want to play in a side that competes in Europe, as that would be better for my career. I feel like a prisoner at Bologna, as they won't let me go," snapped Ramirez.
"The club doesn't seem to remember that I didn't complain when I was without a pay cheque for four months."
The Rossoblu risked bankruptcy this year and were docked three points in the Serie A table due to financial irregularities.
"I am registered with Bologna, but whether I stay there or not will be decided only after we talk face to face in a week's time."
