Genoa coach Gianpiero Gasperini has signed a new four-year contract extension.

"I'm very proud to be a part of this project," stated the former Juventus youth team boss. "I owe a lot to President Enrico Preziosi.

"This recognition increases my role within the workings of this club.

"I am well aware that as a Coach everything is linked to results, but the fact that this extension has arrived so soon and before Christmas is particularly satisfying."
