Gian Piero Gasperini is delighted to have returned to Genoa.
Gasperini was named coach of Genoa this week - his second spell in charge.
"I'm more motivated now than when I first arrived at this club," Gasperini, who spent four years with the outfit before his axing in late 2010, stated.
"We're currently in the third tier of Serie A clubs and we'll now have to suffer in order to move up the table.
"I'm happy right now, but I want results.
"A bit of time has passed since my last training session here at Pegli, but it's a bit like coming home for me.
"Three years and two championships have passed, there is a new situation now and that is incredibly stimulating.
"I've missed Genoa a lot."
