Inter Milan coach Gian Piero Gasperini admits Emiliano Viviano's injury is a big loss.

Viviano underwent surgery yesterday to rebuild the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. He'll be out for 5-7 months.

"We're all very disappointed for him, as it's an incredible injury to get during a training session. We will all stand by him and help his recovery process," said Gasperini.
