Gary Cahill is already on the outer at Chelsea.
The Daily Star says the £7m centre-back’s signing from Bolton was orchestrated by owner Roman Abramovich.
The England defender, 26, was recommended to the Russian billionaire by his scout and personal adviser Piet de Visser, 77. Since joining the Blues a fortnight ago, Cahill has yet to feature in three matches – Sunderland at home and QPR then Swansea away.
It seems unlikely that AVB will hand Cahill his debut at home to Manchester United on Sunday.He was an unused substitute in the 1-1 draw in south Wales on Tuesday despite skipper John Terry being injured. Well,I believe we shouldn't make too much fuss about his not getting play time because I know Cahill will play against united. Remember no Ashley Cole so,Luiz will be drafted to the left back while Cahill will pair Terry at centre and my reliable Ivanovic will occupy the right back. Up Chelsea
Even if cahill was not the player villas boas wanted, but since the owner of the club has signed him. let the manager start using him, who knows? he may be the perfect replacement for terry at this time of his trouble. Cahill is still very young, let's give him a try.
