Liverpool reserves coach Gary Ablett has heaped praise on young Australian goalkeeper Dean Bouzanis. Bouzanis produced several top notch saves to keep the Reds in the match against a strong Blackburn reserves team at Ewood Park.

Carlos Villanueva got the goal for Rovers before Vitor Flora produced a late equaliser.

"Dean had a great game," Ablett told Liverpoolfc.tv.

"At 1-0 he pulled off a number of great saves to keep us in it.

"He had to play well because we didn't perform anywhere near the level I expect of us."
