Gargano: Napoli teammates must support Inler

Napoli midfielder Walter Gargano says Gokhan Inler's teammates are right behind him.

Gargano was asked about midfield teammate Inler, who was dropped at the weekend after poor form and jeers from the fans.

“If Inler isn’t playing well, it’s because the whole team is not giving him the right support. People expected more from Gokhan, but the truth is he is doing pretty well.

“The fans and media, you’re just never happy. I was jeered last season for my fitness levels, but now everyone has understood I was going through a phase.”
