Gareth Bale has signed a new deal with Real Madrid.

Marca says the Welshman is signing on until 2021 and another five years with Los Blancos.

Cristiano Ronaldo's own renewal will be announced in September meaning that two of the clubs biggest stars will be staying at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

An associated salary increase, which will see his annual earnings hit 10 million euros net, will place him on an equal footing to captain Sergio Ramos and just behind Ronaldo as the highest earners at the club.

They're not the only ones committing themselves long-term to Madrid either, Martin Odegaard will also continue at the club until 2021.

Although he'll ply his trade at an as yet unnamed destination for this coming season, his future remains with Los Blancos who believe he is a real star in the making.
