Gareth Bale admits Real Madrid need to start taking the La Liga title seriously.

The Welshman was speaking with Sport magazine.

“The Championship is a very difficult league, a very physical league, so it gave me a great base to build from.

"The most important thing for me, when I was younger, was to be playing week-in, week-out. You can train with great players – but there's nothing like playing games, especially when you're young. That was vital for my development," he said.
