Anthony Gardner has been stunned by Tottenham's rejection of a £1 million offer from Stoke City for his services.
Gardner has been offered an escape route from White Hart Lane by the Potters, but Spurs are holding out for £2m.
The centre-half, 26, is desperate to team up with Tony Pulis after starting his career at Stoke's local rivals Port Vale.
