Ricardo Gardner was delighted with his goal scoring role in Bolton's victory over Manchester City on Sunday.
Gardner proved the hero by scoring the opening goal in the 77th minute and then providing the cross which City skipper Richard Dunne fired into his own net in the closing stages.
Jamaica international Gardner said: "It has been tough over the last couple of weeks with results not going our way but the lads have stuck together.
"In training we have been working on what we thought had gone wrong.
"We went out against City and everyone gave 100%. We dug in to get the three points, which was great."
