Garcia talks of 'fearless' Tigers

Hull City are surprising most pundits around the world with their performances so far this season. One group of people that aren't surprised are the players themselves, and Aussie striker Richard Garcia is adamant that those performances can continue. Speaking to the Herald, Garcia said, "We're going into every challenge with no fear. There's a great buzz around the place. It's one of those things where victories breed confidence and the confidence has done us well. "The secret has been everyone's attitude, everyone's will to win and desire to succeed. People wrote us off, so proving people wrong comes into it as well. Hopefully that continues, but we have to be wary of becoming complacent and losing that hunger." Hull are currently sitting third on the table after the first two months and have been touted for greater things this season but Garcia knows that consistency is imperative if the season is to head in the same direction it is going. "You have to keep your feet on the ground and not get carried away with yourself, and the manager is wary of it," Garcia added. "People here are mentioning a third-place finish but what are we - eight games into it? It is still really, really, early days. OK, we've cause some upsets but the Premier League is a long-haul race and it is about being consistent. Hopefully, we can keep that consistency over the year."
