AS Roma skipper Francesco Totti came off the bench to score in defeat to AC Milan.

Roma coach Rudi Garcia again started the game with Totti amongst the substitutes.

Garcia said, "Hindsight is 20/20, but it's true that Totti and Manuel Iturbe did well after coming off the bench. With them on the field we created more, played better and scored a goal too.

"Mistakes from an individual can happen, even if we have players with the quality to keep the ball a lot better than they do. Instead they give the ball away and make life difficult for the rest of the team.

"The squad doesn't seem to understand that if we drop the tempo and don't show the right hunger for this final strait, we make it easier for our opponents.

"We need to play at a higher tempo to even think about getting points in the next three games.

"We also allowed Milan to attack down the flanks with their full-backs and it was another thing we should've done better on."
