Roma coach Rudi Garcia says they cannot afford a slow start to the season.

Roma meet Verona and Juventus in the first two rounds.

“Right from the start line we must be ready to dive straight into the season," declared the Coach.

“In the first round we'll face Hellas Verona, then immediately host Juventus. We must make sure we are ready for games like this, rapidly getting new players integrated into the squad.

“When we change, it is important to keep in mind the time it takes to adapt.

“I saw that in the final rounds some other intriguing games await us."
