MLS Commissioner Don Garber admits they made a sensational play for Chelsea legend Didier Drogba before he agreed to join Shanghai Shenhua. Drogba left Chelsea for China after winning the Champions League last season, but not before fielding offers from around the world.

Speaking at Bloomberg Sports Business Summit yesterday, Garber revealed MLS offered Drogba more than $10 million-a-year to move to the USA.
