Idrissa Gana Gueye was grateful to his Everton colleagues for assisting him with the task of marking Paul Pogba on Sunday.
The Senegalese midfielder was involved in plenty of key moments as the Toffees forced a 1-1 draw with Manchester United at Goodison Park courtesy of a late penalty from Leighton Baines.
Gana was fouled by Marouane Fellaini in the area to allow the Toffees to fight back but it was his role shadowing Pogba which really helped his team come away with a share of the points.
He told Sky Sports: "I enjoyed it a lot. Pogba is a good player.
"He gave me a lot of problems but (Gareth) Barry helped me a lot and the team helped a lot, that's why today was good for me."
He added: "It was a good game
"The most important thing is the team and we got the one point. We just have to keep focused and keep going for the next game."
