Cristian Gamboa is thrilled with his move to West Bromwich Albion.
The former Rosenborg fullback completed his switch this week after being granted a work permit.
Costa Rican Gamboa said: "For me, the move is a dream come true, I feel really happy because it is the biggest step of my career.
"It is a good moment, also after the World Cup, I am happy to be here and I hope the people at West Bromwich Albion will like how I play - and my performances.
"Albion were one of the first clubs to show an interest in me so I believe in the work they are doing.
"It is a big step for me to be here, it is a big step to be in the Premier League, it is really important to have a club where you can play and show your skills.
"For me, it is the right club to play in the Premier League."
