Gamberini denies Jovetic rift with Fiorentina teammates

Fiorentina defender Alessandro Gamberini denies a rift between the players and Stevan Jovetic.

There's claims Jovetic is at odds with the rest of his teammates.

Gamberini said: “In some newspapers I have read with surprise that the dressing room was bothered by Jovetic’s forfeit from the Cagliari game.

“As captain of Fiorentina, I deny with force any allegations of this kind. We all hope that Stevan, whose team spirit is undeniable, will soon be fully recovered so he can return and make a vital contribution to the team.

“Ours is an absolutely united dressing room, gossip will only help to strengthen our unity.”
