Galliani plays down AC Milan mega offer for Ronaldinho

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has played down talk of a £20 million-plus bid for Barcelona star Ronaldinho.

He said: "I often speak with the Barcelona directors and I can confirm that the figures talked about in the papers was not the offer put forward by Milan. Our proposal was far inferior to that."

However, Galliani did confirm they're remaining in contact with Barca over a deal for Ronaldinho.

He also blasted city rivals Inter for going into media silence this week.

"I find that incredible. You cannot stay silent faced with those who give great support to a football club. I think it is our duty to talk."
