Galliani not thinking about Montella for AC Milan

AC Milan vice-president Adrian Galliani insists they've never considered Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella.

Galliani was asked if Montella could succeed Massimiliano Allegri.

"Of course not! Allegri is close to us and we keep him close. I do congratulate Montella for this season, but that does not mean I want to pick up and carry him to Milan. I praise his football.

"Here in Milan we have always aimed to win through the beautiful game, from Arrigo Sacchi on. Soccer is a show and each club is required to create it to entertain their fans and lovers of this sport.

"I loved football as a child and I like to win, playing well."
