AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani is adamant Alberto Gilardino is staying with the Rossoneri.

He said: "Like all great clubs, Milan has many players in attack, Gilardino has the same chances as the others, we see all the attackers at a same level. There has been enquiries for Gilardino in this winter market, he is not for sale and will not be either in the next season.

"He will respect his contract and we also, which runs to 2011.

"An exchange with (Fiorentina goalkeeper) Sebstien Frey? We have never talked to Fiorentina and then no one ever swaps a goalkeeper with an attacker."
