AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani insists Stephan El Shaarawy is staying.

The striker has been linked with a move away in January.

"Last season El Shaarawy kept us upright until Balotelli arrived. Unfortunately we haven't really had El Shaarawy or De Sciglio this season.

"El Shaarawy is staying as well," said Galliani. "A well-known Coach from abroad rang me up to ask for him and I politely said no."
