Galliani insists AC Milan squad good enough to win title

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani insists they're capable of winning the Scudetto this season.

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani insists they're capable of winning the Scudetto this season.

The Diavolo lost their title crown to the Old Lady last term and their transfer campaign so far has been low key with swoops for the likes of Francesco Acerbi, Kevin Constant and Riccardo Montolivo.

“Our objective is to fight to win the championship,” said Galliani.

“We also want to reduce the number of injuries because there is a direct correlation between injuries and obtaining results.

“There are still a few players missing from training, but there are new faces like Acerbi and Constant.

“We think we have a squad which is good enough to fight for the objectives which we have set ourselves.”
