Days after quashing talk of a Real Madrid move for Andrei Shevchenko, AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has denied a Spanish move for Carlo Ancelotti.

Galliani told the Italian media today that he had been bombarded with questions from the Spanish media following radio reports that Real Madrid wanted Carlo Ancelotti as a replacement for Bernd Schuster.

"I'll say it again - Ancelotti and Shevchenko will remain with AC Milan," Galliani said.
