AC Milan GM Adriano Galliani has delivered fans a market update.
Galliani admits they've enquired about Inter Milan defender Andrea Ranocchia.
“It's more no than yes," said Galliani. “We thought about another centre-back when Rodrigo Ely got injured, but we have four and that's enough.
“Monaco told me that they do not intend to buy Stephan El Shaarawy and stopped playing him for that reason, but I am not irritated. They played him to the last minute before the option became mandatory.
“I really like El Ghazi of Ajax, but he'd only come in if someone else left and we haven't started negotiations. First we'd have to see Cerci leave and El Shaarawy complete his move to Roma. The market is a chess game."
